The center uses digital high-quality health assessments that are delivered by a research trained technical team.

The centre has been running successfully since June 2019 and some of the centre’s achievements till date include:
1. NCD screening of 4200+ individuals
2. 5500+ households approached for screening
3. 800+ individuals referred to the physician

The location of SH&HCC has proven to be useful in catering to the needs of those who are less fortunate in the community due to which the research unit is able to provide screening of type-2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) to the urban slum dwellers of Inderpuri. Having received a great response from the population residing near Salwan Charitable Dispensary, the centre looks forward to making an impressive impact to reduce the burden of type-2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
