Mr. Salwan was appointed as ‘One Man Commission’ to inquire into doping allegations against Ms. Sunita Rani. The reports submitted by the ‘One Man Commission’ was accepted by IAAF and Olympic Council of Asia. Sunita Rani was exonerated and she got her medals back and India her glory.

He had been on the panel of N.D.M.C., D.T.C, Northern Railway, DEDA and D.K.V.I.B. He is presently representing DDA in the Delhi High Court. He is also a legal advisor to National Rifle Association of India, Athletics Federation of India, Delhi Olympic Association.

He has been appointed as the Addl. Standing counsel, by the Govt of NCT of Delhi to represent the government before Delhi High Court

  • As Secretary of INSOL India, organized two National Conferences:
    • The first conference at Goa was on "Legal Reforms in India : Globalization and New Economic Order with special reference to Corporate and Insolvency Laws".
    • The second conference at Shimla, H.P. was on “Legal Reforms in India : Review of Progress (including Companies Act Amendment/NCLT, Competition Law); Limited Liability Partnership; WTO-Legal Services : the Indian Scenario; Money Laundering – Legal and Fiscal Implications”.
  • Presented paper in a Conference organised by Asia Pacific Jurist Association on Environment - Awareness - Enforcement at New Delhi.
  • Presented paper at a conference on ‘Globalization of Education and its impact on Indian economy and society’. The theme topic was Constitutional Validity of Right to Education Bill.
  • Taken up the task of protection and conservation of the ridge.
  • Model on protection of environment was appreciated by Padma Vibhushan E. Shreedharan, M.D., DMRC. Work on the 2 km. stretch below the Metro track being done on the basis of the said model.
  • Participation in International Seminar on ‘Doping in Sports-issues of Policy & Legislation’.
  • Participated in the first Mediation Training Workshop for Lawyers organised by Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Participated in the Advance workshop.
